Dr. Bipeenchandra Y. Bhamre is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

His qualifications include MBBS, MS, M.Ch. Cardiothoracic Surgery, MD (USA). He has been trained under one of the foremost heart surgeon – Dr. Denton Cooley at Texas Heart Institute, Houston, Texas, USA. He has also completed Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery from Stuttgart, Germany and Fellowship from UCSD, California, USA.

Using the minimally invasive technique, he can perform cardiac operations thorough small incisions with rapid recovery and short hospital stay. He is experienced in treating complex Aortic Aneurysms with Hybrid procedures through small incisions.

Dr. Bhamre’s professional achievements include the prestigious Ungethum Asculap Stiftung Scholarship, Tutilengen, by Dr. Med M. Ungethum, Germany. In India, he has been awarded with Acharya Shushrut Sadbhavna Award for medical services in 2009. He has also been awarded Gold medal in Surgery in 2005 for standing 1st in University of Pune. His skills of coronary anastomosis during CABG was one of the Best Anastomosis on Beating Heart Bypass Model by EBM Corporation at Houston, Texas, USA.

Dr. Bhamre has also appeared in the reputed Texas Medical Centre News on Annual Summit for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Techniques in March 2013.
