Brain Injury

Home / Events and Updates / Brain Injury

The workshop will introduce a standardized family intervention program for brain injury survivors developed by Juan Carlos Arango-Lasprilla et al.

There is evidence that this program can improve levels of depression, anxiety, burden, and problem-solving appraisals in terms of confidence, approach-avoidance, and personal control. It is the first family intervention that includes family members "living in the home in addition to the caregiver".

Along with that, the workshop will include the Indian perspective of social support and family involvement. There will also be an open public forum where family members can directly interact with the faculty.
