Dr Rajkumar Vishwakarma is a consultant in the department of Paediatric Cardiac Sciences at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing his MBBS, Dr Vishwakarma pursued his DA in Anesthesiology from Mumbai University and thereafter obtained his DNB degree from MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai. He also earned a Post-doctorate certificate course in Cardiac Anesthesiology from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He also has completed Fellowship of National Board of Examination (FNB) in Cardiac Anaesthesiology at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi and Fellowship of Indian Association of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Anaesthesiologist (FIACTA). He has also trained at Quitiles Cardiac Alert, London, UK.
Prior to his association with our hospital, Dr Vishwakarma was working as Intensivist in the Medical & Surgical ICU, Kohinoor Hospital at Mumbai. He has also been a tutor of junior residents in Anaesthesiology for a period of two years in MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai.
He has presented various publications and thesis and has been actively involved in research work in his area of specialization.
He is a Life member of Indian Association of Cardiothoracic and Vascular anaesthesiogists (IACTA) and Society of Transoesophageal Echocardiography, Chandigarh.
