Bone Marrow Transplant

The rapidly escalating incidence of Thyroid cancer worldwide has made it imperative to define clear principles of management supported by evidentiary data to deliver value based care. Despite the vast volume of published literature on the subject and a regular plethora of publications, there exists considerable variance in practice patterns all over the world, and between institutions and individuals alike.

The purpose of this meeting is to generate a consensus for appropriate management guidelines for the wide spectrum of clinical situations that present, establish optimal standards of surgical care as well as appropriate adjuvant therapy when indicated.

To enable this, we have invited a highly distinguished faculty comprising of internationally and nationally renowned leaders, who will share important insights in order to bring coherence to the management of these ubiquitous cancers.

Prof. Jatin P. Shah, one of the world’s foremost teachers with over four decades of experience, and Prof. Bryan McIver, an internationally renowned endocrinologist, will be our guest speakers from the USA.

We are also fortunate to have thought leaders from our country to share their experience, judgement and wisdom on this critically important subject.

The format of the scientific program has been designed to bring clarity on fundamental principles of management, their application to clinical scenarios, and technical aspects of surgical alternatives available.

This meeting should prove beneficial to a very wide spectrum of practitioners, students and trainees involved in the care of patients with Thyroid cancer.
