Biography

Dr. Vasant Nagvekar serves as the Director of the Department of Infectious Diseases at Reliance Swasthya. As one of Maharashtra’s most senior Infectious Diseases Consultants, Dr. Nagvekar has earned the distinguished FIDSA (Fellow of Infectious Diseases Society of America) recognition. He is a mentor to many students in Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He is also the Secretary for Clinical Infectious Diseases Society of India and a Founding Member of the recently formed Antimicrobial Resistance Trust.
