Dr. Rumi Beramji leads the Acupuncture Clinic at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital. He currently serves as an Administrator for the Maharashtra Council of Acupuncture (2023–Present), where he contributes to strengthening governance, professional standards, and the structured growth of acupuncture practice across the state.
He previously served as the First President of the Maharashtra Council of Acupuncture (2017–2023), playing a pivotal role in establishing institutional frameworks and advancing formal recognition for acupuncture practitioners. Dr. Beramji is also the President of the Association of Acupuncture Science Practitioners and the Vice President of the Acupuncture Science Association, the largest national body representing acupuncture professionals across 28 states in India.
In addition, he is an Associate Member of AAICON (All India Acupuncture Organization), a nationally respected organization with a legacy of over four decades, founded by Dr. Basu. He is also associated with the National Coordination Committee, actively contributing to nationwide initiatives that have supported the recognition and integration of acupuncture within India’s healthcare system.
