Dr. Arti Pawaria is Chief Pediatric Hepatologist & Transplant Physician at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai. She is one of India's leading specialists in Pediatric Hepatology and Pediatric Liver Transplantation, with advanced superspecialty training from premier institutes.
She is recognized as the first formally trained female doctor in India to complete DM 3-year core training in Pediatric Hepatology. Her training includes the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, New Delhi; SGPGIMS, Lucknow; and SMS Medical College, Jaipur.
Dr. Pawaria has been selected as the only Indian member on the Pediatric Committee of the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS). She also serves as a member of the Core Research Team of the Society of Pediatric Liver Transplantation (SPLIT), the largest global consortium for pediatric liver transplantation. She is also a member of the ILTS Special Interest Group on Living Donor Liver Transplantation and a Vanguard Committee Member of the Liver Transplant Society of India (LTSI).
A recipient of multiple prestigious international research honours, Dr. Pawaria has received research recognition in Pediatric Hepatology and Liver Transplantation from organizations including AASLD and APASL.
Her work focuses on pediatric acute liver failure, Wilson disease, transplant outcomes, nutrition in chronic liver disease, and international multicenter collaborative research. Alongside clinical excellence, she remains deeply committed to medical education, advocacy, and building global collaborative networks for children with liver disease.
