Dr. Bhavin Visariya is a Radiation Oncologist with over 14 years of experience in the management of cancer patients across leading oncology centres in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. He has been involved in the care of more than 15,000 cancer patients, bringing extensive clinical experience in advanced radiation oncology and precision cancer treatment.
Dr. Visariya completed his MBBS from Seth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai, and his MD in Radiation Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Homi Bhabha National Institute, India’s apex cancer institute.
His core expertise lies in advanced precision radiotherapy, with specialized training in stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiotherapy, including SRS and SBRT, for benign and malignant tumours of the brain, spine and body. He also has expertise in functional radiosurgery and highly conformal radiation techniques such as IMRT, IGRT and VMAT.
Dr. Visariya is well versed in image-guided and interstitial brachytherapy for gynaecological cancers, breast cancer, head and neck cancers, and soft tissue sarcomas, enabling personalized, organ-sparing treatment approaches for patients.
He has experience working with both Varian and Elekta radiation therapy platforms and has been directly involved in the commissioning of new linear accelerators and brachytherapy systems. This has provided him with a strong technical understanding of modern radiation technology and its safe, effective clinical application.
Dr. Visariya has held consultant and leadership positions at reputed hospitals and has contributed to peer-reviewed research in stereotactic radiation oncology, paediatric oncology, and haematological oncology.
