Bio:

Dr. Dhiraj Bhattad is the Additional Director at the Department of Internal Medicine at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital. 

After completing his M.B.B.S. at the prestigious B.J. Medical College, Pune, he completed his M.D. in Medicine from T.N. Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Hospital, Mumbai, where he achieved distinction in the final year of M.B.B.S. 

Initially, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Nair Hospital, providing patient care in both the Medicine and Haematology Departments while also teaching undergraduate/postgraduate students of Medicine. He worked as a Consultant Physician and D.N.B. Medicine teacher at Seven Hills Hospital before joining our institution. 

Certifications 

• ’Infectious diseases certificate course 2008’ from P. D. Hinduja Hospital
• ‘Critical Care Training Program 2010’ from KEM Hospital
• One-year distance education certificate course in Diabetes from M. V. Hospital, Chennai, along with certification exam in 2012 

Publications 

• Publications in the Journal of General Medicine, the Journal of Association of Physicians of India, and The Indian Practitioner.
• A book chapter in “Chronic Refractory Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura in Adults” in “Hematology 2012” textbook. 

Dr. Bhattad has also delivered several talks in his area of expertise in various medical forums.
