Dr. Dipit Sahu is a Consultant Shoulder Surgeon in the Department of Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing his M.B.B.S. and M.S. in Orthopaedics, Dr. Sahu pursued advanced fellowship training in France, the USA, and South Korea. He specialises in shoulder orthopaedics and is an official Research Collaborator with Mayo Clinic, USA.
Dr. Sahu underwent more than one year of dedicated training in shoulder surgery at the Alps Surgery Institute, France, under Dr. Laurent Lafosse. He also trained under Dr. Gilles Walch, a pioneer in anatomic and reverse shoulder replacement.
Dr. Sahu has authored several articles in reputed medical journals and contributed chapters to international books on the Arthroscopic Latarjet procedure. He has also described and published a novel arthroscopic shoulder sign in a leading international journal.
He has presented his research at prominent international scientific forums, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting, the French Arthroscopy Society Meeting in Paris, and the Annual Congress of the Orthopaedic Research Society, USA. His cadaveric research was also presented for the Mayo Clinic Kelly Award.
