Dr. Himanshu Gohil is a Consultant Urologist with over seven years of experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of urological disorders. He completed his MBBS from B. J. Government Medical College, Pune, DNB (General Surgery) from KEM Hospital, Pune, and DrNB (Urology) from P. D. Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mumbai. He is also a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU – International).
Dr. Gohil specialises in endourology, minimally invasive and robotic urological surgery, uro-oncology, and andrology. His expertise includes the management of kidney stone disease using advanced endourological techniques such as RIRS, URS, PCNL, and Mini-PCNL, as well as the surgical treatment of benign prostatic enlargement through TURP, laser prostate surgery, and other minimally invasive procedures. He also manages urological cancers and a broad spectrum of general urological conditions.
He has gained significant experience in robotic-assisted urological surgery through structured mentorship, progressive console training, and active involvement in the surgical management of complex robotic uro-oncology cases. He is certified as a robotic console surgeon through the Intuitive System Training Equivalency Pathway.
His clinical interests also include andrology and men's health, with a special focus on male infertility, sexual dysfunction, and other andrological disorders.
Dr. Gohil actively contributes to DrNB Urology teaching, resident training, academic discussions, and surgical mentoring. He is committed to patient education and shared decision-making, helping patients understand their condition and treatment options while delivering evidence-based, patient-centric care.
