Bio:

Dr. Manan Nilen Shah is an Orthopaedic Consultant specialising in joint replacements, sports injuries, and trauma care. An alumnus of Seth G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital (M.B.B.S.) and MGM Medical College (M.S. Orthopaedics), he was nominated for the Chancellor’s Gold Medal. He completed advanced fellowships in Arthroplasty and Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, and OCM Clinic, Munich, refining expertise in complex primary and revision procedures.

With 5+ years of experience and 1,000+ procedures, Dr. Shah employs robotic-assisted and muscle-sparing techniques to enhance precision, reduce pain, and accelerate recovery—across total/partial knee and hip replacements and arthroscopic surgeries. His research includes a large randomised controlled trial on peri-operative pain control and rapid rehabilitation, published in international journals. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he brings a performance-focused mindset to patient care, pairing clear communication and empathetic counselling with evidence-based protocols to help patients return safely to activity and everyday life.
