Bio:

Dr. Sanjay Desai is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Orthopaedics, widely recognised as a pioneer in shoulder surgery, a celebrity surgeon and an expert in shoulder and knee care. He holds MBBS, MS (Bombay), MCh (England), DNB, and D.Orth, with specialised training in Shoulder & Knee surgery, including arthroscopy and joint replacement.

A respected leader in the orthopaedic fraternity, Dr.Desai has served as Past President of the Asian Shoulder Association and the Indian Arthroscopy Society, and is the Founder and Past President of the Shoulder Society of India. He is also an Invited Member of the American Shoulder & Elbow Society, reflecting his standing within the global orthopaedic community.

Dr. Desai’s contributions have been recognised through several prestigious honours, including the Dr. B. C. Roy Award, the Giants International Award, the “Most Inspiring Doctor” Award by The Economic Times, the Young Surgeon Award by the Indo-American Society, and other recognitions for excellence in clinical practice and leadership.
