The institute believes that Academics & Research form an integral pillar towards state-of-the-art patient care. Teaching and grooming medical students lead to the generation of future specialists who would contribute to the hospital's as well as the nation's health care system.
The Academics section runs postgraduate NBE courses in board and super-specialities, as well as fellowship courses with the MUHS, other scientific associations as well as in-house courses. We provide an opportunity for students, nurses, and doctors to spend time as Observers/ Interns/ Visiting scholars for short periods of the time to gain experience in various faculties.
The institute promotes research, whether Academic Clinical Trials or Sponsored Clinical trials so as to lead innovation, access to largest therapies for patients and bring current medical and surgical treatment to the needy. To facilitate, governs and promote research, the department invites collaboration with other agencies and pharmaceutical companies. The Institutional Ethics Committee ensures patient safety and compensation when required.
