Dr.Tapas Mandal is a Consultant in the department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing his MBBS, Dr. Tapas Mandal completed his MD (Anaesthesia) from BYL Nair Hospital and Topiwala National Medical College. He subsequently went to England for 5 years, where he worked in leading hospitals at London and Addenbrookes Hospital at Cambridge University. There he gained further experience in Abdominal Solid Organ transplants, Thoracic, upper GI and HPB surgeries, High Risk Obstetrics, Regional anaesthesia, Perioperative Medicine protocols and management of cases as per Enhanced Recovery Protocols. He became a fellow of the prestigious Royal College of Anaesthetists at London, in 2013. He also has certification of ALS, EPLS and ATLS from Resuscitation Council, UK.
He is a member of the International Liver Transplant Society. He has a keen interest in academics and advancing research in the field of anaesthesiology. He has been invited as faculty at many national conferences. He has also presented papers and posters at various reputed conferences. He has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals.
