Dr Vidhya Deshmukh is a working as a consultant in Department of Anaesthesiology and pain management.
After completing her DA, FCPS and DNB Anaesthesiology, Dr Deshmukh pursued her fellowship in Paediatric anaesthesiology. She specialises in neonatal and paediatric anaesthesia and analgesia.
Dr Deshmukh has expertise in handling sick, high risk premature and term infants as well as anesthetising complex congenital syndromic babies. She is trained in Basic and advanced life support. She has handled emergency cases in all surgical fields efficiently.
Dr Deshmukh has been one of the organising committee member for 6th National Paediatric Anaesthesiology conference held at Goa. she has also been the Faculty in Paediatric Regional Anaesthesia Workshop at the 5th National Paediatric Anaesthesiology Conference Baroda.
She was a part of Smile Train Project for corrective surgeries in Cleft lip and palate babies. She has anaesthetised a series of Scoliosis children for corrective surgeries under intravenous anaesthesia at various institute.
After completing training at Medanta institute Gurugram, she is also part of the liver transplant anaesthesia team at Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital.
