Dr. Jatinder Khanna is a renowned and respected Maxillo-facial surgeon in the city of Mumbai. He has been in Head of Department in various institutions, notably being Head of Nair Dental College, Mumbai; Head of department and Dean of Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai and Professor Emeritus, MGM Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai. He is also attached as Consultant to several prominent hospitals in Mumbai.
Dr. Khanna has received multiple honours and awards, chief amongst them being awarded by the President of India in July 2011. He has been Specialty Advisor to the Union Public Service Commission, Government of India, Specialty Advisor to Public Service Commission, Government of Maharashtra, Advisor to ISI, Government of India for Instruments, Consultant and advisor to the Armed forces, Government of India and recipient of Famdent DRONACHARYA award in 2017.
Dr. Khanna has published several papers in reputed journals in the field of Maxillo-facial surgery.
Dr. Jatinder Khanna has been Member of Academic Council, Mumbai University, Member of Senate, Mumbai University, Chairman of Board of Studies, Mumbai University, Vice President - Asian Association of Oral and Maxillo-facial surgeons and continuing President - Asian Association of Oral and Maxillo-facial surgeons from 2007 onwards.
