Dr David Chandy is a Consultant in Endocrinology at the Endocrinology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. David Chandy completed his MBBS from Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital and MD from Government Medical College, Nagpur and thereafter went on to get DM (Endocrinology) from Sanjay Gandhi Post-graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. He was a research volunteer in Endocrinology in Jesse Brown VA Hospital, Chicago, USA. He was attached as a Consultant in Endocrinology in a prominent hospital of Mumbai before joining Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital.
Dr. David Chandy has been a member of the hospital infectious diseases team that handled the H1N1 influenza cases in Nagpur city in 2009. He was awarded the best junior teacher award by medical school students. He was also awarded best oral presentation at ISPAE 2015 and ISBMR 2016.
Dr. David Chandy’s special interest lies in “Bone Mineral density analysis and Interpretation of ELISA, Radio-immunoassay and Immunoradiometric Assays”.
He has presented several papers, dissertations and publications in his area of expertise and has attended several international conferences on the subject. He is a reviewer of the World Journal of Endocrine Surgery.
Dr. Chandy is a member of the Endocrinology Society of India, Indian Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology and The Endocrine Society of India.
