Dr. Nilesh H. Doctor is a Consultant in the department of Gastrointestinal Surgery at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

After completing his MBBS from Seth G. S. Medical College, Mumbai, Dr. Nilesh pursued MS in General Surgery from the University of Mumbai. He then earned DNB in General Surgery from National Academy of Medical Sciences, followed by FRCS from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Dr. Nilesh Doctor has a rich experience in Gastrointestinal Surgery with a special interest in Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery. Prior to his association with our hospital, he served as a consultant surgeon in several hospitals in Mumbai like Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Bhatia Hospital and Breach Candy Hospital. Dr Nilesh’s experience also includes stints with Mayo Clinic, USA and Royal Free Hospital, London.

Dr. Nilesh is a member of various societies such as International Hepatopancreatobiliary Association (IHPBA), Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Association for Study of the Liver, Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology, Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons, and Indian Society of Gastroenterology. Dr. Nilesh Doctor is also credited with several publications in various reputed medical journals.
