Dr Abhijit Thakur completed his post-graduation. MS (Gen Surgery) from BYL Nair Ch Hospital in year 2000. He is active practice for last 18 years, performing all types of general, gastro-intestinal, hepato-biliary and Head Neck surgeries by open and laparoscopic techniques.
He got extensively trained for basic and advanced laparoscopic surgeries in India & Abroad. He is trained in advanced gastrointestinal, pancreas, spleen and colorectal laparoscopic surgery under Prof Zimmerman and Prof Henry in France.
He completed International Association of Endocrine Surgeons (IAES) fellowship in Endocrine Surgery from University Hospital La Timone Marseille France. He got trained in thyroid, parathyroid, neck, thymus, adrenal, pancreas, open and laparoscopic surgeries for two semesters under Prof Henry in France.
He is trained in general, gastrointestinal, hepato pacreato biliary, breast and head neck cancer surgeries under renowned cancer surgeons at Tata Memorial Hospital and PD Hinduja Hospital.
