Dr Kayomars B. Kapadia is a Consultant Laparoscopic and Gastrointestinal Surgeon with Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
He completed his MBBS from University Of Mumbai, FRCS (London) and FRCS (Edinburgh). His surgical training in UK was based at St. George’s Hospital and Medical School (SGHMS), London over a period of eight years. Here, he first worked as a Specialist Registrar and then as a Senior Registrar. He also got an opportunity to work with renowned personalities in surgery like Mr. M. J. Knight and Mr. J. S. Kirkham. Subsequently, he was a consultant surgeon at St. Heliers Hospital, London with main interest in Minimally Invasive Surgery.
Dr Kapadia has also undergone training at laparoscopic centres in Strasbourg, Bordeaux and at Dundee with Prof. Cuscheri. He is a member of the Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology (IASG), Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (IAGES) and Association of Surgeons of India (ASI).
Besides this, Dr Kapadia is a surgical tutor at Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education (EISE) and a teaching faculty member at Centre of Excellence in Minimal Access Surgery Training (CEMAST).
