Dr. Priyanka Udawat is Consultant Ped Gastroenterologist, Lifestyle Medicine Physician, Nutrition specialist, Certified allergy specialist, Pediatrician and Digestive Wellness Consultant for all age groups. She received M.B.B.S degree(2002-2007) from the Coimbatore Medical College, Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai and did her DNB residency(2009-2012) in Pediatrics from Associate Hospital of Maulana Azad Medical College(Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya), Delhi. She did Fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Nutrition & Liver Transplantation at Medanta, The Medicity, Gurgaon, India(2013-2014). Her passion is to creat a unique niche in the medical field by combining modern medicine with state-of-the-art cutting-edge technology, scientific evidenced based holistic therapies and counseling to bring a person to complete health. She strongly believes in Root Cause Therapy & Not Just Symptomatic Care. To pursue her passion she became Diplomate of International Board Lifestyle Medicine(Dip. IBLM 2022) from American College of Lifestyle Medicine and now also woking on chronic diseases (Diabetes, obesity, hypertension and heart disease) reversal through lifestyle modification in strategic manner with evidence based approach. She is the Director Research, the Indian Society Of Lifestyle Medicine (2023-2024) and runs various research project on disease reversal by lifestyle medicine pillars (Plant Based Diet, Physical Activity, Sleep, Substance Abuse, Emotional Wellbeing, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing). She is adjunct faculty(for MPH lifestyle Medicine) at James Lind Institute, Switzerland, she is taking online lectures on lifestyle medicine. She also got trained in Yogatherapy(2016) to understand healing and wellbeing more. Various disease starts with food and their hidden allergies hence she got trained in advance allergy & asthma course (2022) from Bangalore and now doing allergy testing also and making customized food plan for her patients.
She was a former Assistant Professor in Department of Pediatric Medicine & Pediatric Gastroenterology Subdivision, Sir Padampat Mother & Child Health Institute, S.M.S Medical College, Jaipur(2014-2018). She worked in rural areas as Medical Officer & Incharge at the primary health centre, Govindgarh , Rajasthan in 2008. She worked at Institute of Digestive Liver Care, Mumbai(2019 to 2022) where apart from pediatric gastroenterology services she was doing advanced endoscopic interventions and running digestive wellness clinic(diet, yoga, meditation & counseling sessions by herself ) for all age groups as passion towards integrated health. She has multiple international publications in field of gastroenterology & endosonography. She worked at Surya mother & Child hospital, NH SRCC Children hospital for Pediatric Gastroenterology & liver transplantation and BIDS, Global Hospital for adult gastroenterology, lifestyle medicine & GI wellness.
She has vast experience in Upper & Lower GI endoscopies of adult and children, and various therapeutic interventions and noninvasive diagnostic test for chronic GI issues for all ages. She advises weight management strategies for Underweight/ Over weight individuals and Disease specific customized Nutritional Counseling for all age groups. She conducts detailed counseling on life style management, stress reduction techniques and live meditation sessions for patient who are anxious and suffering from chronic gastrointestinal issues at the digestive wellness clinic with her team.
