Dr Rina Shah is Chief of the Laboratory in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre.
Dr Rina Shah graduated from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (LTMMC) & Sion Hospital, Mumbai with Distinctions in Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology & Pharmacology. She completed her MD Pathology from Seth G S Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai in 2003.
Dr Shah has vast experience in setting up Labs, and managing their Operations & Administration at various Hospitals. She has managed many NABL, CAP, NABH, JCI accredited Labs & organizations.
She has experience in setting up of latest diagnostic technologies like LCMS for therapeutic drug monitoring, ICPMS for metals, HPLC for Vitamins, Electrophoresis, Immunofluorescence, Maternal & New Born screening, Allergy testing, HLA, Electron microscopy etc.
She has been a member of various committees like Quality Assurance, Ethics, Disaster Management, Hospital Infection Control, Transfusion etc. She has been on the Faculty of Basic Sciences, is an MMC Speaker & Member of various Medical Associations.
The Foundation lays significantemphasis on leveraging technology for developmental solutions.
