Medical Oncology

Dr. Darshit K Shah is a Consultant Medical Oncologist, in the department of Medical Oncology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

Dr. Darshit K Shah completed his MBBS from AMC MET Medical College Ahmedabad, Gujarat, DNB Internal Medicine from Sir Gangaram Hospital, Delhi and DM (Medical Oncology) from prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Post completion of DM, he was Asst. Professor in department of Medical Oncology in Tata Memorial Hospital for nearly 2 years.

Dr. Darshit K Shah has a special interest in the field of precision oncology, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, novel drugs, next-generation- sequencing, and molecular oncology.

Dr. Darshit K Shah has trained extensively in various solid tumors like breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, head and neck cancer, prostate cancer, and GI cancers with a multi-disciplinary approach.
Dr Darshit K Shah has also cleared the European Certified Medical Oncology (ECMO) exam.

During the residency, Dr. Darshit K Shah received The Ravi K. Jerath award for the Best DNB Student and Dr. P.S. Gupta award for Best Resident Doctor in Medicine.
He has also presented more than 20 research articles in peer-reviewed journals, participated in more than 30+ National/ International Medical conferences and delivered multiple lectures across different forums and Co authored 1 book chapter.

He is also a member of many professional organisations including European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), Indian Society of Paediatric and Medical Oncology ( ISMPO), and the Indian Medical Association ( IMA)

As community support, Dr. Darshit K Shah also worked in training Anganwadi ASHA workers regarding maternal Health and antenatal care.
