Medical Oncology

Dr. Vashishth Maniar is a Consultant with the Medical Oncology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

Dr. Vashishth Maniar graduated from D.Y. Patil Medical College and Rajawadi hospital, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Mumbai in 2006 as the 1st rank holder in the final Exam, and with distinctions in Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic medicine, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, and Medicine. He successfully pursued an MD (General Medicine) from L.T.M.G.H, SION and held the first rank. He is also a gold medallist D.M in Medical Oncology and Haemato-oncology from Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, B.J Medical College, Ahmedabad (2014). He is certified by the European board of Medical oncology ESMO (2015) and underwent advanced training at University of Giessen, Germany for treatment and management of lymphomas and leukaemia (2016) as a part of (UKGM permentorship program). He also attended ESMO preceptorship program in management of lung cancer held in Manchester, UK (2017).

Dr. Maniar has been actively involved in teaching Oncology and Haematology since 2011 and has conducted multiple CME programs on oncology over the last four years all over the country as a subject expert. He is a regular speaker at national oncology conferences like ICON, ASCO, and GI oncology meets and is a member of American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society of Medical Oncology and Indian Society of Medical and Paediatric Oncology. He has been a part of multiple mammography screening camps conducted by various social organizations and has authored two journal articles and two conference papers.
