Dr. Ashwin Shetty is a Consultant – Obstetrician, Gynaecologist & Urogynaecologist at the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
He completed his MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in India and thereafter went on to pursue and accomplish MRCOG and DFFP from the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, London. He completed a specialist training rotation through a UK National training programme at the Yorkshire deanery, Leeds, UK and was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST).
His Fellowships also include: Advanced Training Skills Module (ATSM) in Advanced Labour practice (RCOG) and Special skills training in Urogynaecology during training rotation.
Dr. Shetty is a Certified Urodynamist from Bristol Urological Institute and is also certified in MOET (Managing Obstetric Emergencies and Trauma).
He has more than10 years of experience in a senior capacity in his field of expertise. He has been a Consultant in Obstetrics-Gynaecology with a special interest in Urogynaecology at Calderdale Royal Hospital, West Yorkshire, UK.
Besides publishing in several peer-reviewed international journals, Dr. Shetty has made numerous oral and poster presentations at international Speciality meetings. He has also been involved in two research projects.
