Dr Reshma R Rao is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completion of MBBS in 1977 from Seth G.S. Medical College, she pursued her MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from University of Mumbai. She Obtained Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics (DGO) from the College of Physicians & Surgeons (CPS), Bombay in October 1980, securing the 1st place and was awarded the B. N. Purandare prize & Gold Medal.
Dr. Reshma Rao has training in Gynaecological Endoscopy & Allied Procedures as well as Gynaecological Cytology. Her field of interest include Vaginal Surgery, Menopause and High Risk Obstetrics and Operative Laparoscopy. She is also trained in laparoscopic Hysterectomy and Myomectomy.
Dr. Rao has presented 4 conference papers and authored 3 research topics.
