Dr. Nirmee Shah is a practicing Consultant Psychiatrist at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing her MBBS, Dr. Shah pursued psychiatric training in the United Kingdom. She trained with the highly prestigious St Mary’s Scheme in London. She was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT-UK) and worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in St Mary’s Hospital, Westminster, London.
Dr. Shah has over 7 years experience in Clinical Psychiatry and has worked across various psychiatric specialties including substance misuse, complex psychosis, pregnancy related conditions and neuropsychiatry. She has trained across all age groups and in various clinical settings.
Dr. Shah has additional qualification in Clinical Pharmacology from the esteemed Glasgow University. She was awarded the Eleanor Newell Prize for being the most outstanding student at University of Glasgow.
Besides psychopharmacology, Dr. Shah has experience in the use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy in various mental disorders. She is also trained in Behaviour Family Therapy for treating pychoisis.
