Dr. Amol Kakade is a consultant Radiation Oncologist at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai. He is trained at the apex cancer institute of India, the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He has wide experience in the treatment of cancers affecting adults in the Head and neck region, Brain tumors, Breast and Thoracic cancers, as well as Gynecological cancers. Dr. Amol Kakade is highly experienced with the most advanced radiation techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT, VMAT and Adaptive Radiotherapy.
Dr. Amol Kakade has a special interest in brachytherapy, a form of highly specialized radiotherapy technique mainly used in gynecological cancers and soft tissue sarcomas. He is passionate about caring for children with cancer and runs one of a kind in India, the Pediatric Radiation Oncology clinic at Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital.
Dr. Amol Kakade is actively involved in creating awareness about cancer, its prevention, and treatment. He is an active member of AROI (Association of Radiation Oncologists of India) and participates in academic events.
