Mr. Jimit Kapadia is a Consultant at the Sports Medicine Department of Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital.

He has completed and aced his Masters in Sports and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation in 2011. He joined Heath Matthews as his ‘Clinical’ apprentice for the period from June 2011 – October 2012.

Following which he explored ‘on-field’ physiotherapy expertise as he has worked with the prestigious ‘Mumbai Cricket Association’ for 4 years as follows:

October, 2012 – May, 2013: Team Physical Therapist for Under-16 Boys
June, 2013 – May, 2014: Team Physical Therapist for Under-19 Boys
June, 2014 – May, 2015: Team Physical Therapist for Under-23 Boys
June, 2015 – May, 2016: Head Academy Physical Therapist, Team Physical Therapist for Under-23 Boys

He also has a varied experience in ‘Live’ injuries and their management as he has been the head physical therapist for many dance reality shows such as Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa- 5 consecutive seasons (2012 – 2017); Nach Baliye- 2 seasons (2015 & 2017); I Can Do That– 1 season (2015)

Apart from a varied exposure to various fields of practice, he has also ‘academically’ upgrading himself- he pursued his proficiency training in Manual Therapy from a variety of different institutes all over the world: Maitland (UK), McConnell (Australia), Mulligan (Australia), Dry Needling (South Africa), Taping techniques (South Africa), Myo-fascial Release (Australia), Osteopathy/Modified Chiropractic Sciences (UK) and many more to list down.
