
Dr. Chirag Bhansali is a distinguished plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon with advanced expertise in microvascular reconstruction, breast reconstruction, and aesthetic surgery. He is also a key member of a pioneering Hand Transplant Team that has successfully performed multiple bilateral hand transplants.
After completing his super-specialization in Plastic Surgery (M.Ch) at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Mumbai, Dr. Bhansali pursued advanced fellowships and international training. He was a Fellow at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, where he gained extensive experience in complex microvascular oncological reconstructions. He subsequently trained in Breast Reconstruction and Aesthetic Surgery under Prof. Moustapha Hamdi at UZ Brussels, Belgium. He also completed an observership in breast reconstruction at Toronto General Hospital with Dr. Toni Zhong, further refining his skills in advanced reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.
