Dr. Samuel Mathew Kalarickal is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with the Cardiology Department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

Post the completion of MBBS (Government Medical College, Kottayam) and MD (Stanley Medical College, Chennai), Dr. Samuel Mathew accomplished DM from Madras Medical College, Chennai.

Popularly known as the father of Angioplasty in India, Dr. Samuel Mathew specialises in Coronary Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Coronary Stenting and Rotablator Atherectomy. During the early years of his practice, he worked with Medistra Hospital (Jakarta) and Royal Hospital (Muscat) before moving his practice to the US. There, he trained under Dr. Andreas Gruentzig (who is known as the father of Coronary Angioplasty) before returning to India in 1985.

Dr Samuel Mathew has performed over 10,000 Angioplasties and is the first Indian Cardiologist to initiate new techniques in Angioplasty, for e.g. Usage of Drug-eluting bio-absorbable stents. He has also provided angioplasty training to numerous surgeons across the United Arab Emirates, Muscat, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Additionally, Dr. Samuel Mathew is the founder-convenor of the National Angioplasty Registry of India. He has earlier held the positions of President, Asian-Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology (1995-97) and Chairman of Interventional Cardiology, Asian-Pacific Society of Cardiology (1995-99).

For his dedicated work and contribution to the field of Interventional Cardiology, Dr Samuel Mathew was awarded the Padmashree by the President of India in 1999. He is also the recipient of Dr. B. C. Roy Award in Interventional Cardiology (1996), Doctor of Science Award by Dr. M.G.R. University (2003) and Lifetime Achievement Award (2008).

Dr Sharukh Golwalla is a Consultant with the Cardiology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

After completing MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine, he pursued DM (Cardiology) – all at Seth G.S. Medical College, Mumbai. Thereafter, he was a Resident Doctor, first in Internal Medicine and then in Cardiology, at K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai. He was a Research Fellow in Cardiology at VA Wadsworth Hospital, Los Angeles, California, USA in 1986.

Dr Golwalla has a rich experience of more than 32 years in the field of cardiology. Earlier, he has worked as an Assistant Cardiologist & Lecturer in Cardiology, Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Bombay University for more than 7 years. He has also been associated with numerous other hospitals including Breach Candy Hospital, Jaslok Hospital and The B.D. Petit Parsee General Hospital.

Dr Golwalla is the co-author of a number of books including ‘Medicine for Students’ 24th edition (2014), ‘The Practical Prescriber’ 17th edition (2013), ‘ABC of Medicine’ 13th edition (2011), ‘A Handbook of Emergencies’ 6th edition (2009) and ‘Electrocardiography’ 14th edition (2013). In addition, he is Advisor to Men’s Health, India.

He is a member of several organisations including Cardiological Society of India (Mumbai Branch), Association of Physicians of India (Mumbai Branch) and Indian Academy of Echocardiography.

Dr. S.R. Handa is a consultant in the department of Cardiology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

Dr. Handa completed his MD (Gen. Medicine) and, thereafter, successfully pursued his Fellowship in Cardiology from Bombay Hospital, Mumbai and also acquired a DNB in Cardiology. He has also participated in an advanced training program in Coronary Angioplasty at Hospital Charles Nicolle, Rouen, Paris, France. He is attached with several reputed hospitals of Mumbai and is Honorary Consultant in Cardiology with Western Railway.

He has special interest in Interventional Cardiology – Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Balloon Valvuloplasties and others. He has performed more than 5000 Echocardiographs and Colour Dopplers, more than 15000 left and right heart catheterizations, more than 10000 Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasties and Balloon Valvuloplasties and more than 20000 Coronary Angiographies.

Dr. Handa has been a teacher for undergraduate medical students and nurses as well as for DNB (Card.) students doing super-specialization in Cardiology.

Dr. Handa is the author of several research papers and publications in the field of interventional cardiology and has held multiple live demonstrations of Angioplasties both in India and abroad. He regularly attends seminars and conferences in India and internationally in his field of expertise and specialization.

Dr Shivaprakash Krishnanaik, widely known as Dr Shiva, is the Director of Paediatric Cardiac Sciences at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

After completing his MBBS, Dr. Shiva earned his MS in General Surgery from Bangalore Medical College with a gold medal for topping the University. He also completed his MCh from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India in 1992. He also earned a Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery from Royal Alexandra Hospital, Westmead, Sydney, Australia. This was followed by brief visiting fellowships at Stanford University Medical Centre, San Francisco, USA and University Hospital Coimbra, Portugal.

Prior to his association with our hospital, Dr. Shiva was associated with leading hospitals like the Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases and Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre as a Clinical Professor and Consultant Paediatric Cardiac Surgeon. He was also the Chief Paediatric and congenital Heart Surgeon at Seven Hills Hospital. His technical skills and areas of clinical expertise include Complex Reconstructions, Neonatal Cardiac Surgery, Cosmetic Congenital Heart Surgery, and Valve Repairs in children. 

Dr Shiva is a member of the Indian Association of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons and Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon’s Network. He is also a Founder Member of the Paediatric Cardiac Society, in India and was a president of the society between 2016-17. His Research and Academic Interests span the Specific Problems of Congenital Heart Disease in the Developing World and the Development of Cost-effective Management in Paediatric Cardiac Surgeries. He also has more than 60 original articles published in various national and international journals. He has presented more than 100 papers at national and international conferences that involve many innovations in the field.  Among many orations and lectures, He has also delivered prestigious KN Dastur and Jayadeva orations at the annular conference of Cardiac surgeons and cardiologists. 

Dr Sandip Katkade is a consultant in the department of Paediatric Cardiac Sciences at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

After completing his MBBS from B. J. Medical College - Pune, Dr Katkade pursued his MD in Anaesthesiology from TNMC BYL Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai. He also earned a Fellowship in Cardiac Anaesthesia from Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospitals, Bangalore.

Prior to his association with our hospital, Dr Katkade was working at Seven Hills Hospital, Mumbai as a Cardiac Anaesthesiologist. He has assisted and independently conducted cases involving perioperative management such as ASD, VSD, PDA, Aortic arch surgery, Arterial and Atrial switch surgeries, AV canal repair etc. Dr Katkade is also well-versed with Paediatric Cath Lab procedures such as Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization and ASD/PDA device closure.

Dr Katkade intends to make a mark in the fields of Adult and Paediatric Cardiac Anaesthesia. His additional speciality interests include Neuro and Obstetrics Anaesthesia.

Dr. Saalim Sheikh is a Consultant in the department of Surgical Oncology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

After completing MBBS, Dr. Sheikh pursued DNB (General Surgery).

Dr. Sheikh has an experience of 10 years in the field of Surgical Oncology. In addition to his association with our hospital, he is also pursuing private practice at his own nursing home in Andheri, Mumbai. He is also a Consultant at A. E. Kalsekar hospital and Saifee hospital in Mumbai.

Dr. Sheikh has done extensive research in the management of diabetic foot including the role of CO2 laser for the treatment of the same, including long-standing and complicated cases.

Dr. Sanket S. Mehta is an Oncology Surgeon at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. He performs a diverse nature of open and minimal invasive surgery including Laparoscopic and Robotic colorectal surgery, distal pancreatectomy, gastric cancer surgery, ovarian cancer surgery, endometrial and cervical cancer surgery.

After his DNB, Dr. Mehta has completed his Surgical Oncology training at Tata Memorial Hospital. He then went on to train in Laparoscopic & Robotic Colorectal Surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital, Catholic University of Korea, Seoul, South Korea. He also has fellowship in Gastro-intestinal Oncology and Cytoreductive surgery, CRLC Val d’Aurelle, Montpellier, France and fellowship in Digestive and Minimal Invasive Surgery, L’Hopital Saint-Eloi, CHU Montpellier, France.

Dr. Mehta specialises in performing Cytoreductive surgeries for primary and recurrent ovarian and primary peritoneal cancers. He has pioneered HIPEC treatment for recurrent ovarian cancer in India. He regularly performs Laparoscopic and Robotic endometrial and cervical cancer surgery.

Dr Sanjay Garude is a consultant in the department of Orthopaedics at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

A gold medalist from Mumbai University, Dr Garude earned extensive training from the UK for three years. After completing MBBS, he pursued MS Orth, D Orth and DNB Orth. He completed his MCh Orthopaedics degree from Liverpool, UK in 1997. He is also a qualified Fellow of College of Physicians & Surgeons (Orthopaedics).

Dr Sanjay Garude has a rich experience of over 20 years in shoulder surgery and arthroscopy. Prior to his association with our hospital, he was associated with leading multi-speciality hospitals in Mumbai in the fields of shoulder surgery, arthroscopy and sports medicine. He has gained significant exposure to shoulder surgery and arthroscopies of all joints through his global travels spanning USA, France and Australia.

Dr Garude is an active member and faculty at various national meetings organized by the Indian Arthroscopy Society. He delivers talks and conducts arthroscopy training workshops all over the country. He has also published papers in various national and international journals. Dr Garude is a keen sportsman himself and plays cricket, rides cycles, and treks avidly in the Sahyadris and the Himalayas.

After spending more than 5 years in general orthopaedics Dr. Desai has emerged as a pioneer super specialist in shoulder and knee surgery and also the founder member of The Shoulder Society of India. Practicing in the highly specialized field of shoulder and knee surgery since the last 20 years he has been instrumental in bringing world-class arthroscopic shoulder surgery to India.

Dr. Desai has had a brilliant academic record with Gold medals throughout his orthopaedic career, including one at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. Dr. Sanjay Desai honed his skills in knee and shoulder arthroscopic surgery at Cambridge, working with big names in these fields. He trained in Total Joint Replacement at Wrightington Hospital, a centre that pioneered this procedure in the early 70s and therefore is considered the birthplace of joint replacement surgery. He has also trained with leading international orthopaedic surgeons in Germany and France. His academic activities have reached international shores, being invited as a guest lecturer at the British Orthopaedic Association meeting in Manchester, 2009. The “Young achievers Award - 2002” conferred by the Indo-American society is a formal recognition of his contribution. Dr. Sanjay Desai is one of the few to be invited to perform live demonstration surgery in UK, Spain, China, Denmark, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand and Sri Lanka. He has also been invited as a referee of the prestigious Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery and on the editorial board of the European Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology. Dr. Desai as the founder and president of the Shoulder Society of India has been regularly conducting workshops and live surgical demonstrations in order to expose the latest to the orthopaedic surgeons in various parts of India and the neighbouring countries. In recognition of his contribution and years of pioneering work he has been appointed the President of Indian Arthroscopy Association and President-elect of the Asian Shoulder Association.

Dr. Sudhir Warrier is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Orthopaedic Surgery department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

Dr. Sudhir Warrier is a well experienced Consultant Orthopaedic and Hand Surgeon from Mumbai and is attached with several other reputed hospitals in the city.

After he had completed his MS (Ortho) and D (Ortho), he completed his fellowship in clinical & research from Gyeongsang National University (Korea), Clinical Fellowship from Okayama University (Japan) and Hand Surgery Fellowship from Govt. Stanley Hospital (Madras).

Dr. Sudhir Warrier is an expert in treating Hand disorders and performing Hand surgeries & Joint replacements.

Dr. Warrier is a Past President of the Bombay Orthopaedic Society and a member of several other bodies, viz., the Indian Orthopaedic Association, Indian Society for Surgery of Hand, Maharashtra Orthopaedic Association and Kerala Orthopaedic Association.

Dr. Swapnil Keny is a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon with the Orthopaedic department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

An alumni of Mumbai University, Dr. Swapnil Keny graduated from Topiwala National Medical College and Nair Hospital in 1998 with a distinction in General Surgery. He completed his post-graduation from G S Seth Medical College in 2002. He underwent training in minimal invasive paediatric and adult Spine surgery as a Zeta Fellow at the Lilavati and Fortis Hospital, Mumbai, 2003-04; in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery as a fellow at the Skubwezki University, Lubin, Poland, 2004; in Paediatric Spine Surgery as a fellow at the Korea University, Seoul, 2005 and as a ASSI travelling fellow at Apollo Hospital, Chennai, 2006.

Currently, an Associate Professor, Dr. Keny’s field of speciality is Paediatric Orthopaedics with special interest in Cerebral Palsy, Skeletal Dysplasia, Ilizarov Limb reconstruction and various developmental and acquired musculoskeletal conditions in children. He has publications in internationally indexed and peer reviewed Indian Journals and has co-authored Book chapter on varied topics of Paediatric Orthopaedics and spine surgery. Dr. Bhattacharya served as a full time Professor of Cardio thoracic surgery at Sheth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital and evinced keen interest in teaching for over 10 years before entering into the practice world in 1983. He specialized and attained M.Ch. (Cardio-Thoracic Surgery) under renowned Cardiac Surgeon and world pioneer Dr. Dudley Johnson.

He joined Jaslok Hospital and then Breach Candy Hospital and then gradually was invited to join most of the major hospitals in Mumbai.

Apart from being an accomplished Cardiac Surgeon, Dr. Bhattacharya has invented, designed and patented a few surgical instruments, the most important ones being Atrial Retractor for Mitral Valve Replacement and Internal Mammary Artery Retractor for taking down bilateral Internal Mammary Arteries.

Dr. Bhattacharyya has received many accolades and numerous awards in his illustrious career and has been recognized globally for his contribution and work in cardiac surgery. Dr. Suresh Advani is a Consultant with the Medical Oncology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

Dr. Suresh Advani graduated from Bombay University in 1969 securing first position in Physiology and Anatomy and completed MD (General Medicine) in 1973. He underwent special training in Bone Marrow transplantation procedure and medical oncology at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Centre, Seattle, Washington, USA under International Cancer Research Technology Transfer (ICRETT), 1981 followed by Fellowship at Yamagiwa-Yoshida Memorial International Cancer under a Study Grant of the International Union against Cancer (UICC) in 1986 and pioneered the establishment of Bone marrow transplantation in India.

Dr. Advani has been involved with Medical Oncology/Haematology for the last four decades. He is well versed in both modern Medical and Paediatric Oncology and is currently working with biological therapeutics for targeting specific molecules on the cancer cells.

A Padma Bhushan (2012) awardee, Dr. Advani has over 600 publications to his credit. He has been honoured with numerous awards and has presided over many professional bodies. He is currently, Professor, Medical Oncology at the Tata Memorial hospital and sits on the editorial board of many scientific Journals.

Dr. Sewanti Limaye is the Director of Medical & Precision Oncology, at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital

Dr. Limaye, established Precision Oncology clinic - led for the first time by a medical oncologist in the country. She also took Oncology Clinical and Translational research at the center to new heights.

Dr. Limaye has earlier worked at Columbia University Medical Center-New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she worked in Medical Oncology and was Assistant Professor of Medicine and specialized in Thoracic, Head & Neck, GI Oncology and Early Drug Development. Prior to joining Columbia University Dr. Limaye worked as an Attending in Medical Oncology at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute/Brigham and Women’s Hospital and at the Phase I - Early Drug Development Center - Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA.

She specializes in the treatment of all solid tumors including Breast, Lung, Head and Neck, GI, GU and Gyn Cancers. Dr. Limaye received her medical degree with honors from Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Bhagalpur and did her residency in Internal Medicine from New York University and did her fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology from Albert Einstein University, New York. She also did a Masters in Patient Oriented Research (Cancer Genomics and Biostatistics) from Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University. Dr. Limaye has been involved in research with leaders at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Columbia University Medical Center and National Cancer Institute, USA. She serves on Tata Memorial Hospital Ethics board. She has also co- founded Iylon Precision Oncology with Dr. Sendurai Mani from MDACC, an international precision effort with global leaders and IMPACT India International initiative at the national level.

She has led several national and international trials and has been a part of Data Safety Monitoring Boards. Dr. Limaye was awarded with the John-Flynn Young investigator Award for excellence in clinical research, the Rose and Jack Horowitz Award for excellence in patient care and Medical Oncology Research Excellence Award-ASCO 2008 for excellence in clinical research. She was nominated to serve as the National Chair of the Sub-protocol Arm B of the landmark NCI-MATCH Trial.

Ms. Sangita Vakharia is a Lactation Counsellor in the Department of Paediatrics at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

After completing her B.Com from University of Mumbai, in 1997, Ms Sangita Vakharia became a certified Mother Support Counsellor by BPNI Maharashtra in December 1998. She is also a certified IYCN (Infant & Young Child Nutrition) Level 1 Trainer since 2006 and has been a Lead Trainer since 2008. She is also a Certified BFHI (Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative) Assessor since 2009.

Ms. Vakharia has more than 5000 hrs of work experience in one to one counselling, growth monitoring, immunization, new born caring practice, ORS and administering primary care during common illnesses. She has worked as a Programme Manager at BPNI Maharashtra office and as a faculty member in multiple training workshops for doctors, nurses and health workers (both Government & Non-Government) all over Maharashtra in collaboration with UNICEF for the ‘Hirkani IYCN Initiative’. She was also the Programme Manager at BPNI Maharashtra office, co-ordinate ‘Hirkani IYCN Initiative’ for 8 Districts (Kolhapur and Konkan Region) with Govt. of Maharashtra. Ms. Vakharia has contributed as a special editorial assistance in preparing 2nd edition of Level 1 IYCN English Module for UNICEF Maharashtra.

Dr. Sandip Badgujar is an experienced pediatrician providing care from newborn to adolescent age group .Services offered involves vaccinations ,common pediatric problems & handling emergencies with special interest in pediatric allergies and asthma,now serving as a Consultant at H.N Reliance hospital. He completed his MBBS and DCH from the renowned Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital in Mumbai, followed by a DNB from the Delhi National Board of Examinations. Dr. Badgujar further honed his expertise with a Diploma in Pediatric Allergy & Asthma from Sir Ganga Ram Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, affiliated to International Asthma Services Colorado, USA.

Dr. Samrat D shah is a Consultant at the Internal Medicine department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

After completing his MBBS from KJ Somaiya Medical College and Hospital, Sion. Dr. Samrat Shah perused his MD (Internal Medicine) from Grant Medical College - Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai.

Dr. Shah has experience in General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Casualty, Critical care unit Infectious disease, Nephrology, Endocrinology and Neurology and has been a part many prominent hospitals in the city. He is also trained in managing Diabetes and HIV.

Dr. Shah has authored three research Articles, five media articles and has been an investigator for ten clinical studies. As a subject expert, he has been an invited speaker at several CMEs and conferences.

Dr. Susheel Bindroo is the Director of Interventional Pulmonology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai. He has over 15 years of clinical experience. He has received his medical degree from SP Medical College Bikaner, and his PG residency in Pulmonary Medicine from VP Chest Institute and MA Medical College, Delhi. He earned his Diploma in Critical Care from the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, followed by a Fellowship in Critical Care from NBE. He completed his training in Interventional Pulmonology at Penn Medical Centre, Philadelphia. He is EDIC and EDARM qualified and has fellowship from American College of Chest Physicians.

Dr. Bindroo specializes in the treatment of all lung related disorders and critically ill patients. He is one of the pioneers of interventional pulmonology in India and has performed more than 500 EBUS and multiple other complex procedures including medical thoracoscopy, stenting of tracheobronchial airways, ablation of endo-bronchial tumors and placement of indwelling pleural catheters.

He further specialized in Cardiac surgery at the Sri ChitraThirunalinstitute, Trivandrum.

He subsequently worked atthe Manipal heart foundation and Narayana Hrudayalaya. Since 2001 he specializes in setting up greenfield heart surgical services.He has since 2011 expanded this repertoire to Thoracic organ transplantation and mechanical circulatory support .

He now focuses, solely on a top down realignment of pre-existing cardiac and respiratory services into heart and lung transplant centers. He has done the same for Gleneagles Global hospitals at Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Bombay over the past 3 years, before he moved down as the Founding Director of the Solid thoracic organ TX program at KIMS Hospitals. His team have performed 555+ thoracic organ transplants (of which 381 were Double lung transplants, 117 Heart transplants & 57 Combine Heart & Lung transplants) in this period, with over 50 le ventricular assist device implants (LVAD).

In addition, Dr. Attawar is also an active member in international cardiothoracic forums such as the International society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT), Society of Thoracic surgeons (STS ) and the European association of cardio-thoracic surgery ( EACTS ).

He is on the international panel of 24 experts to form the consensus guidelines for Lung Transplantations at the ISHLT this year.These guidelines are the Lung transplant Bible for over 250 hospitals all across the Globe that pursue the science of Lung transplantation.

He is also a contributor for the textbook of ‘’ Transplantations & Mechanical Circulatory Support for end stage Lung and Heart disease’’ Published by Wiley Publishing due for release next year.

He has had work published in leading journals such as the Annals of Thoracic Surgery (ATS), and regularly contributes to papers and presentations delivered across the world. He is a scientific advisor for Reliant Heart and is involved in advancing the field of mechanically assisted circulation or Long term Ventricular assist devices (LVAD).He is also on the editorial board of the Journal of Thoracic disease. Dr. Attawar is currently the proctor for JARVIK HEART and Heart Mate III in India and South East Asia.

Dr.Sandeep Attawar is a firm believer in universal access to quality care and outcomes in heart and lung transplants,striving to provide the highest quality of care to patients at his institution. Dr. Attawar’s wife is a pediatrician and his son is pursuing his Masters in Public relations and communication at the NYU school of Business studies. Dr. Attawar’s interests are European history, study of western classical music.

Dr Snehal Sanghavi is Mentor with the Internal Medicine department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

After his MBBS, Dr Sanghavi completed MD in Internal Medicine. He has a rich experience as an Internist and Clinical Cardiologist spanning more than 39 years.

Besides his association with our hospital, Dr Sanghavi is also Senior Honorary Consulting Physician at Saifee and Bhatia Hospital. In the past, he has rendered his services at numerous other institutions including Jaslok Hospital, G.T. Hospital and Dalvi Hospital. He has also worked at the Jersey Medical Center, USA in 1977.

Dr Sanghavi has a vast teaching experience of more than 39 years. He has taught students at Grant Medical College and G.S. Medical College. He has been a post-graduate teacher for MD (Internal Medicine) at Bombay University and is a recognised teacher by NBE (National Board) for DNB in Internal Medicine. Dr Sanghavi is also a teacher for Diploma in Diabetes Mellitus (CPS-recognised) at Saifee hospital and a recognised teacher by NBE for DNB in Family Medicine at Saifee hospital.

In the past, Dr Sanghavi has served as an Honorary Physician to the Governor of Maharashtra for more than 15 years. He has also been a frequent examiner for the subject of Medicine for MBBS and Convenor and examiner for MD (Internal Medicine) at Bombay University. He was selected by the Rotary Club of Bombay (South) for GSE programme to California in March 1977.

Dr. Sanjay Godbole is a Consultant at the Internal Medicine department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

Dr. Sanjay Godbole is a MD physician in Internal Medicine with special interest in Diabetes and Lifestyle diseases. Dr. Godbole’s clinical practice of over three decades, bears testimony to the large scale experience he has accrued over the years.

An alumnus of Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai (TNMC), Dr. Godbole topped his MD examinations from the institution.

Presently, Dr. Godbole fulfils teaching responsibilities at K J Somaiya Medical College, Mumbai as an Associate Professor of Medicine besides being a faculty member at Institute of Chemical Technology. His teaching experience includes imparting training in DNB (Family Medicine), DNB (Clinical Medicine) and Diploma course in Diabetes.

Apart from teaching interests, he also acts an Honorary Physician to some of the renowned medical institutions of Mumbai.

Dr. Godbole pursues research interests in blood pressure, obesity, inflammatory markers in Atherosclerosis, with some of these studies being ongoing. An esteemed member of numerous medical societies with national and global repute, Dr. Godbole has several publications and paper presentations to his credit.

Dr. Sameer Gaggar is a Consultant with the Gastroenterology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

Post the completion of his MBBS and MD in Medicine from Mumbai, Dr. Gaggar achieved MRCP Internal Medicine, MRCP Gastroenterology and CCT Gastroenterology from UK. He has trained extensively in UK and has worked there in Gastroenterology and Hepatology for 11 years. After graduating with distinction in Anatomy and Biochemistry from Topiwala National Medical College and Nair hospital, Dr Shaival H Chandalia completed his residency in internal medicine at the St Louis University Hospital,USA in 2004. He was awarded the postgraduate degree of Diplomate, American Board of Internal Medicine in 2005. He further completed his fellowship training in Endocrinology , Diabetes and Metabolism at UT Southwestern Medical Centre, Dallas, USA from 2007-08.

Dr.  Saumeel S. Mehtalia is a Consultant at the Diabetology & Endocrinology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. Dr. Saumeel Mehtalia graduated from K J Somaiya Medical College, University of Mumbai in 1999 and completed his MD (Medicine) in 2004. Dr. Mehtalia has vast experience in management of Paediatric and Adult Diabetes, Thyroid Disorders and intensive insulin therapy for ICU. He has been involved in carrying out research for detection of diabetes in young, educational programmes for ADA and RSSSDI.

Dr. Sonali Kagne is a well-known endocrinologist and diabetes specialist. She has several years of clinical experience treating diabetes, thyroid, and complex endocrine diseases.
