Dr Upasani is an accomplished radiation oncologist with more than 15 years of experience of extensive hand-on cutting-edge radiation therapy treatment delivery systems. He has trained in the apex cancer institute of India, Tata Memorial Hospital, where he completed his MD in Radiation Oncology followed by residency during which he further honed his skills. Prior to joining Sir HN Reliance, he was working at the National Cancer Institute, Nagpur.
He is keen on both clinical and academic pursuits. He has been co-investigator in Multi-Prospective trials. He also has about a dozen publications in peer reviewed international journals with the research focusing on practical application of radiotherapy that affirm his knowledge and expertise in oncology.
