Dr. Vanshika Gupta Adukia is a Consultant pregnancy specialist at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Vanshika Adukia completed her BPT from Dr. D.Y.Patil University, 2016. She has undergone Pre and Post Natal Instructors and is a CAPPA Certified Child Birth Educator [CCCE]. Her special interests lie in promoting Women’s health, prenatal-postnatal fitness, pregnancy, lactation and childbirth related awareness programmes, pelvic floor rehabilitation and has advanced knowledge about women’s health in antenatal and postnatal care, pelvic floor physiotherapy (including vaginal examination). She has knowledge of electrotherapy and mobilisation techniques for improving body movements, restoring mobility and strengthening muscles and has worked on Neurological patient rehabilitation, Pre and post -operative Physiotherapy for joint replacement, Musculoskeletal and sports injuries & rehabilitation.
Dr. Adukia has experience in treating occupation related injuries by conducting ergonomic evaluation, providing ergonomic advice and managing rehabilitation programs and believes in promoting general fitness by incorporating a healthy lifestyle and exercise as a part of daily routine. She has authored 3 publications and several articles for SWADDLE- a women and child-health based social media platform.
