Dr. Ankita A Nachankar, is a Consultant at the Department of Radiation Oncology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Ankita Nachankar completed her MD (Radiation Oncology) in 2013 from the prestigious Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, followed by which she worked as senior registrar at the same institute. She has been awarded degree of DNB (Radiation Oncology) in year 2016, by National Board of Examination. She is trained basic palliative care at Cipla palliative care and Training center, Pune. She also has certification from European Society of Medical Oncology.
Dr. Ankita took initiative in implementing stereotactic radiotherapy techniques and paperless data verification system system at Radiation Oncology department of our Hospital. Her treatment specialties are Gynaecological malignancies, head and neck cancers, gastrointestinal and paediatric tumors. She has gained skills of brachytherapy and has special interest in stereotactic radiotherapy (SRS/ SBRT).
Dr. Ankita has contributed in various academic meetings, she presented her research work at several national and international conferences and some of the work is published. She delivered several lectures and presentations in Oncology meetings. She also contributed in organizing some academic meetings at the Hospital.
